The stand can be angled from about 15º to 30º, or swiveled 90º to use the display in portrait mode – which is great for working on web pages. I've heard more people talk about the Gechic ones than either of those, they're brighter so usable in more environments and have standard inputs instead of using DisplayLink so are compatible with more devices. This way, images always look excellent and accurate, regardless from which angle you – or your friends and co-workers sitting or standing next to you – are looking at the screen. As with most IPS monitors, the I1659FWUX provided wide viewing angles; it showed no noticeable color shifting or loss of luminance when viewed from an extreme top, side, or bottom angle.
