As you venture through, there are also the live animal enclosures to explore - including the large snake tanks that will get plenty of oohs from little visitors. Follow the Gruffalo’s Child on her adventurous mission in Tall Stories’ enchanting adaptation of the much-loved picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. And handily for parents, there's also a mini adventure playground outside to keep youngsters entertained at this pit stop too.The zoo is showcasing the fascinating stories and traditions of Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a holiday which originated in Mexico, with some added wonders from the natural world.
