Sixty seconds later, like magic, about half the milk you poured into the Aeroccino is pure foam, while the other half underneath is perfectly warmed. We were particularly impressed with the hot milk with dense froth setting when used with whole milk, though the oat-milk came out equally light and foamy. As for the base, you can't immerse it or run it under water, but it also shouldn't get very dirty at all as it's completely isolated from the jug.
