About this deal

Then i have set this to 97% and tried from 80%-100% everthing in 2% steps with Top Surface Solid Fill Flowrate. Some minor effects can be seen but all not good. Then i have done again tests with Top Solid Fill Extrusion width Percentage. Same here. Inside the Titan extruder, the extruder gear is connected to the separate motor shaft through a gear system with a gear ratio of 3:1. Like the single-gear Bowden designs, the filament is driven on one side, while the other side is held by a freely rotating idler pulley. Below the gear, the filament path is fully enclosed, which is important to prevent jamming when printing with flexible filaments like TPU. The Sprite Pro is a Sprite extruder with an integrated all-metal hot end. This allows the Sprite Pro to heat up to 300° C, which enables it to print high-temperature materials such as nylon. In all other respects, the Sprite Pro is the same as the Sprite—there are no changes to the extruder itself.

Easier to upgrade and maintain, since the hot end and extruder can be modified independently and use simpler designs.

The toothed gear is held in place by two small grub screws, which can become loose over time, leading to the gear falling to the bottom of the shaft and losing grip on the filament. And I imaging that to be able to do this you need to be at a “Developer level” to understand how to do this correctly.

Note that the Sprite is an integrated unit that includes both the extruder and hot end. In the original version of the Sprite, the hot end uses a short PTFE tube section and is able to print at up to 260° C. There is also a Pro version with an all-metal hot end, described in the next section. The hot end uses the standard nozzles found on many of Creality’s Bowden hot ends—a definite plus over some other designs that use non-standard nozzle threading. I started with the plated brass nozzle and got great results. I decided to experiment with a Tungsten Carbide MK8 nozzle and low and behold, it works. Now I have a permanent nozzle and can print with abrasives. See if there is anyone with a printer.cfg file that matches my setup (or someone that can tell me how to go about creating one and where I can get the info from) So far, the Sprite has lived up to the hype with a few necessary adjustments. As always, be patient and experiment to get the best settings for your printer and filament. It takes time, but I now have consistent prints with little effort. To test the extrusion performance of the Creality Sprite Extruder Pro, I printed this awesome Tazmanian Devil from reddadsteve on Printables. I used a range of PLA filaments with various layer heights, from 0.12mm to 0.2mm. Now that you have completed the installation process, you will also need to adjust the e-steps setting on your printer to compensate for the gear ratio of the Sprite extruder. You’ll also need to adjust the retraction settings in your slicer software. E-Steps for the Sprite Extruder Despite its small size of only 54 x 50 x 64.3 mm and a weight of only 288 g, the Sprite Extruder Pro is a powerful combination of extruder and hotend that offers many practical functions. With the Sprite Extruder Pro Upgrade Kit you can no longer only print PLA, PETG etc. with your Ender, but also flexible filaments and materials that require higher printing temperatures.

Remove the extruder motor cable from the existing Bowden extruder motor, and attach the included extension cable. Connect the extension cable to the Sprite extruder motor.

On some printers, the printer will not allow you to set the e-steps value this high. For those printers, follow these steps: Before we begin, we need to install the web interface for our Klipper setup. I recommend installing MainsailOS because it is actively developed and it’s easy to use, but you can also install Fluidd. This design is generally effective, however there are a number of issues you can encounter after prolonged use: Generally there should be a printer.cfg on this stupid thing. Most likely the only thing you have to correct is the mesh start and end points (min / max).
