Needless to say that I am confused though delighted. It seems I got the best of both worlds. This leads me to wonder, though, if your table is in error, or if some 9090cc units shipped in Silver instead?? You can very well replace Series 9 PRO with Series 9 PRO+ in the comparison above as the latter shaves exactly the same. Why was the Series 9 updated (four times)? The S9 Pro 9477cc is a highly capable shaver and one of the best out there when shaving longer facial hair. However, by longer I mean 5, maybe 7 days at most if your beard grows really slow. No electric shaver out there will be able to shave a beard that has been growing for a few weeks. It will pull and break and miss most of the hairs and it will be painful and impossible to get a decent shave. In that case you will absolutely need to pre-trim your beard with a trimmer.

So the difference between the original and the 92 cassettes comes down to color and maybe reliability — the original cassettes have been known to fail suddenly. I believe I read somewhere that the shaver should be dry when placed in the cleaning station. If that is the case:So if you’ll be using a cleaning station with your solo Series 9 shaver, the paint below the head could chip in time. The damage will only be visual though.

Braun are experts in precision shaving and flawless hair removal. Braun’s high-quality electric shavers and beard trimmers have been perfected over more than 50 years. As for maintenance, at first, perhaps because of the custom with previous shavers, I would have liked a brush but I recognize that being washable, its cleaning is also more comfortable and lubricating the head from time to time with the product of the Own brand is more than enough. So I wouldn’t dismiss the models that come with the non-Pro station like the 9370cc or 9310cc, especially if you can get them for a better price.As for the PRO Series 9, various models are finally available globally and we’re already seeing some price drops.
