Right now it seems like many builders in the gunpla community consider Mineshima's GodHand Ultimate Nippers to be the best cutters on the market. But I’m certain it will make building kits a lot more enjoyable now that I don’t have to deal with the frustration anymore that my old cutters caused me more often than not (building my Gun Tiger was already so much fun with the GH nipper). But since they’re made of steel they will still dull after a while so try not to use them more often than necessary. Don't skip out on making a car payment just to get these fancy nippers, but if you have it in your budget and feel like you'll use them often enough please do yourself a favor and pick up a pair.

The Ultimate Nippers are brand new out of the package; all of the other testing nippers have been used and worn down to various degrees. The maximum diameter of cut should be 3mm, so don’t try to cut up the sprue runners with your precious tool, but keep an old pair of nippers nearby for the task. To this poster, the fact that the God Hand Ultimate Nipper is undeniably number one on the nipper ranking isn’t up for debate.Normal Nipper" is a universal nipper with no special specifications that can be used by anyone in any situation. With very little tension, hold your nipper up to the light; if light shines through, the cutter is no longer functioning properly and would not be giving a complete cut; and if you can squeeze the nipper past what it closes up to, there’s a good chance that it may be damaged in some way. They are so small you can use the GH nipper to directly cut them off the sprues, which will look like in the top right photo. My own seniors use regular nippers as if they were cutting away from the gate, and this Ultimate Nipper as if they were processing a larger gate cut away from the gate on a part that has been cut away from the gate. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

I think the main draw of these nippers over other manufactures is the sharpness and precision that they offer builders.If we’re getting down to basics, you position the blades either side of the target sprue-gate, cutting a few millimetres away from the kit part initially, then cutting it as close as you can when the part is liberated from the sprue.
