Like many business books, this book can be summarized on a postcard: Take more personal responsibility for the problems you encounter. Your organization will soon become a hackathon, a bunch of people albeit engaged and hard at work, but unknowingly duplicating the same thing and thus wasting energy and wasting efforts that could be put to better use in an orchestrated manner.

I had a packed week ahead of me and a stressful weekend behind me, and just wanted to get to where I was going and have a few hours of peace.Only then do organizations enhance productivity, teamwork, communication, morale, creativity, safety, staff engagement, and problem-solving. Sorry, I'm going off on a tangent here, but I think books that espouse philosophies such as this book does are actually dangerous. Instead of brainstorming and working together to get things done, we blame-storm and accomplish nothing. i admit that i have been sucked into this, and am going to try to change my attitude and position after reading this.
