Although originally founded in 1812, the name Champagne Laurent-Perrier was not conceived until 1964.

Today, with Bernard’s daughters Alexandra and Stéphanie on the Management Board, the House of Laurent-Perrier is one of the great success stories in Champagne and is the largest independent Champagne brand worldwide. Made with up to 55% Chardonnay and aged in cellars for a minimum of four years, La Cuvée is delicate yet complex with crisp citrus notes. One of Champagne's most important figures in the 20th century, he officially took over in 1948 after a three-year apprenticeship at the Houses of Delamotte and Lanson.

A blend of 55% chardonnay- double the usual amount in champagne and at least four years of ageing gives this champagne its unique personality and ensures perfect maturity upon release. Under de Nonancourt, Laurent-Perrier were the first House to use stainless-steel vats and the first House to create both a zero dosage champagne (Ultra Brut) and a non-vintage prestige cuvée (Grand Siècle).Perfectly balanced, with crisp flavours and finesse, it is also an ideal companion for fish, poultry and white meat. the wine then spends an extra year in the cellar, ageing for a total of four years on the lees before release.
