How I like my perfume to be- a little bit of vintage, creamy creamy creamy, musky, very luxury rich vibes, a little bit of arrogance, a little bit of surprise, and a little just a tiny tiny little bit of bitterness.

I wouldn’t wear this during a hot summer day though (for those days, I love vanilla rose scents), but even if I did, it doesn’t perform that bad. It has a plasticine lactonic nature that can be found in Blanche Bete combined with the clean musk from the discontinued Narciso white cube. I got Hypnotic Poison eau de parfum thinking it would be better and more vanilla than the eau de toilette. The opening can sometimes smell like root beer or liquorice to me, but the scent is pleasant once it's dried down a bit. Bitter almond, caraway, Arabian jasmine and sensual vanilla with musk are combined together to create a breathtaking fusion.We simply rebottle them in smaller sizes to enable you to find your perfect fragrance without splashing out on a big bottle first. I totally made an account after i read your review because i felt the same way about hypnotic poison. This women's eau de toilette hypnotizes, envelops and intoxicates the senses with its delectable accents. LPRN eau de cough syrup pissed me off but I'm of the opinion that if you like it, you have a high chance of liking Hypnotic Poison EDT. It's not for everyone but sometimes I wear fragrance to peeve others around me off while I get a confidence boost for the day.

Exuding a brazen, conquering spirit, Hypnotic Poison is an intriguing Oriental fragrance that breaks with convention.Scent: At first spray, I get mostly the fruity notes (plum, coconut, apricot) mixed with a licorice- like smell. Just to note, the plum and apricot notes don’t stand out, however these are notes I don’t like in fragrance and I’m sure it contributes to my overall feeling towards the fragrance. It opens up with a shot of vanilla and coconut( I do not pull the coconut on my skin) with a musk and Oriental spice dry down. Across the shelf at Ulta lies perhaps my all time favorite vanilla perfume, and one of the great triumphs of the noble genre of things that kind of smell like sexy plastic: Dior’s Hypnotic Poison.

Until people described it as play-doughy I wouldn't have been able to put my finger on it but it's definitely not a deal breaker. I would suggest testing it as it can have a bit of a chemical and synergic smell to it and can be nauseatingly sweet. The first 15-30 minutes for the EDP were a little less pleasant than I'd hoped -- it smelled like a vanilla air freshener sprayed in a jazz club bathroom to mask the odor towards the end of the evening. Longevity on me is 8-10 hours - it never dries down nicely and I get a very synthetic smell for that long.Perfumes with natural ingredients often smell different in batches based on the source of the ingredients, while synthetic ingredients usually have consistency in their smell and lasts longer. The first time I did I wondered what it was - surely not the fragrance, it's not what it smells like!
