About this deal

A few weeks ago I reviewed a legend among beer drinkers – alcohol-free Stella which was surprisingly decent so it was with a degree of optimism that I tried another legend within the beer world – alcohol-free Budweiser (aka Bud Zero. Some of the planned stadium activations cannot move forward due to circumstances beyond our control. The decision could have ramifications for the future, Wiacek said, noting that Budweiser’s partnership with the World Cup expires after this year’s event. Fast-forward almost 100 years and prohibition came back, this time as the name of Budweiser’s take on alcohol-free beer.

Other than light look and feel, it lacks the typical AAL features of aroma, sweets, and unpleasant aftertaste. The beer had a soft launch in March and it’s debuting a national ad campaign featuring Wade beginning Wednesday. THE PRODUCT AND ALLERGEN INFORMATION PROVIDED HAS BEEN SUPPLIED BY THE PRODUCER/MANUFACTURER OF THE PRODUCTS. Budweiser Zero is an alcohol-free brew with only 50 calories and zero grams of sugar and is made for those who want to cut back on alcohol without missing out on the full flavor and refreshment of Budweiser. It literally tastes like a glass of strange tasting carbonated water … where have all the beer flavours gone?

Please always read the labels, warnings, and directions provided with the product before using or consuming a product. All in all, Budweiser Zero stands out because of this - it tastes similar to the original Budweiser, just lighter and a bit flatter. It was “brewed with premium Budweiser barley, hop and malt through the same expert beechwood ageing technique that delivers the smoothness of Budweiser, along with a revolutionary 4x-cold-filtration process”, said owner Budweiser Brewing Group, adding it had been able to create the new drink “thanks to new developments in no-alcohol brewing” since the debut of Prohibition. However, Budweiser will be cautious to burn its bridges with the governing body, as the 2026 US tournament will be highly prized.

Budweiser Prohibition launched in late 2017, but struggled in the supermarkets: latest Nielsen data shows it lost a fifth of its value over the past 12 months, dropping 19. It is indeed slightly awkward for AB InBev, which is a major sponsor of the World Cup, and was planning to selling regular Bud.Qatar is a Muslim country that is considered to be very conservative, and tightly regulates alcohol sales and usage. However, beer’s affordability, brand familiarity and product innovations, including low- and non-alcoholic beer, has grabbed people’s attention once again. That trend has recently extended into the beer market as both large and small companies rediscover non-alcoholic beers. It’s a good beer but it must be served very cold and downed quickly before it goes flat, which is when the ‘authentic’ Budweiser taste disappears.

The thought of an IPA was loathsome to me, but I just tried Sams IPA NA out of desperation after reading reviews here, and its the best. Some purists may argue that it doesn't completely replicate the full-bodied experience of regular Budweiser. It’s pretty refreshing and if you were going to reach for a light beer, this is a pretty satisfying alternative. We brew our lager using fresh, verdant rice – milled, polished, graded, and immediately brewed for a crisp taste and smooth finish. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. It is designed to offer the same crisp and clean taste that Budweiser is known for but with an alcohol content of zero. And while I'm certainly not a professional athlete, I think this alcohol-free beer is something everyone can enjoy. Golden color with a subtle honey aroma and a trace of citrus, punctuated by notes of malt and noble hops.
