On his first DVD The Jack shares 8 of his favourite and most powerful Mentalism creations and performance pieces, including To Lovecraft, Jorge's brilliant and acclaimed version of the classic Pegasus Page effect. The result, known as Jack, is a bespoke, modular room and spatial accessory system built from timber cassettes that can be assembled, reassembled and reconfigured in a variety of ways to create differently sized, fully or partially enclosed spaces. A total of 160 Jack meeting rooms were installed in Google’s London HQ with prototypes being sent to other international Google offices, including India. The idea was to have a meeting room that would be deliverable within a similar timeframe to the constantly evolving and changing business processes and team structures.

Time taken at the design stage of any product can have an immediate and fundamental effect on that product’s environmental impact. The system was further developed at The Office Group to include furniture, and the reception desk, break out spaces and kitchens all use the same palette of materials.

At 10:30 pm, we drove thirteen miles north from Coldfoot to meet Jack, one of the 13 permanent residents of Wiseman. Products are continually tested to ensure they conform to the strength and stability requirements of British and European performance standards. The Jackwall uses a standard 8’ x 4’ sheet of plywood, framed with ply and clad in a choice of finishes; the frames can be fitted with shelving while some hold glazing or doors. Born in San Francisco, he was one of the first American authors to gain worldwide recognition and to make a fortune in the process. While we were on the long journey of hunting the Aurora Borealis, he shared his life story in one of the most remote village in the North America. In the winter, he mainly spends time making traps for animals like links and wolverines, chopping wood for his wood stove, cutting meat, and plowing snow. There is an option to connect to the outside of the Arctic Circle, but certainly you can make yourself isolated as much as you want.

It is as fast as 110kb, takes 5 minutes to upload five photos on Facebook, but it is an amazing service considering where Wiseman is located.

Each set of components was accompanied by a ‘Jack Manual’, so that the facilities management team could be trained to assemble them together, promoting teamwork and collaboration.

Around the perimeter of the studio the space has been divided by a mezzanine, with a series of meeting spaces below created using the Jackwall system. The town boomed from 1911 to 1915, after large quantities of gold were discovered in the creek in 1907. The best time to hunt the caribou is spring, when they migrate back to Alaska and start to gain weight.
