About this deal

ALSO, while I was skipping a smut scene I think I saw a sentence like “you belong to me” 🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦 sleeping on the highway rn 🥰 I'm not going to lie. I was struggling in the beginning until I reached the 30% mark and then finally, finally the story caught my interested. i seriously needed kulti’s pov every time he was jealous bc he was losing his mind!! especially when sal hugged his friend before him and he got so mf grumpy afterwards!! When the man you worshipped as a kid becomes your coach, it’s supposed to be the greatest thing in the world. Keywords: supposed to.

You can find a really cute little epilogue scene here: https://www.marianazapata.com/kulti-o...... Thanks to Hulya for mentioning it in her review...just paying it forward for others to enjoy by doing the same. you are my best friend, my love, my playmate and my teammate. you’ll have a team with me wherever we are, with whatever we are playing” The age difference wasn’t really a problem for me- she is 27 and who cares if she’s with someone 13 years older than her. If she was 18, I would have had a problem with it, but a 27 year old women can do what she wants. But I never liked Sal more than when she called The King Kulti on his shit. That girl has a spine. Kudos to her, really. I might have been cheering loudly at some parts (the bratwurst did it *smiles slowly*) She even managed to make me laugh with her banter (Kulti doesn't count, because really, the guy barely ever opens his mouth)He’s as surly, hostile, and disagreeable as any human being. Every attempt Sal makes at drawing him out is met with disdain. And even a threat. But over time, Sal discovers that Kulti is not only alone, but he is lonely and she can’t stop herself from reaching out to him again. Reiner was slow to reveal himself but his appreciation for Sal’s talent and the woman she is was worth the wait as the two come to the end of the season with strong feelings for one another. Także musiałam ją w końcu nadrobić :D Known for having been one of the most explosive and creative players in the sport, and now in his late thirties, Kulti might have retired from the sport two years before, but the media circus following his life has not slowed down, scrutinizing his every move and thus bringing attention to the women’s team he has accepted to coach. From the first day in his new job, however, Kulti appears not to want to be there, his disinterest and grumpiness becoming a permanent fixture on and off the field. Until a feisty young player decides to read him the riot act, and tell him exactly what she thinks of him. “You are the most insolent person I have ever met in my life.” I loved Sal. Her determination and focus was easy to believe and the highs and lows of dealing with her young girl crush as a coach, on a daily basis, were interesting. Sal just wants to play soccer and when Kulti joins as an assistant coach, she must learn to treat him as normal, not as her first love and the man she was going to marry (in her head...she was very little). She also has to get past the fact that Kulti broke her brother’s leg years ago when they were playing soccer on opposing teams. Poor Sal has a lot to deal with. She is almost tongue tied and the only way she can stop herself from being a blathering fool is to remind herself over and over again that Kulti poos and wees. The first half of the story had poo mentioned quite a bit.

Once you reluctantly accepted that people were always going to judge you no matter what, it got a little easier to deal with having people dislike you. A little.” A friend of mine said that the first chapter is to hook the reader on the present book and the last chapter is to get the reader to buy the next book (not necessarily in the series but just any book by the author). And truly the ending of this book left me with such a good book feeling that it erased all the negative ones I had during the first 50% of the book where I struggled to become engaged. I think knowing that the book is slow but that the reward is worthwhile is important going into this book. Well, this is one of the issues in this book and the story behind a woman who plays professional football – Sal Casillas – and this book’s Fußballgott, Sal’s idol, Reiner Kulti. Also, for a book that had some real insights into women's soccer, it had some glaring errors that took me right out of the story. For example, in one place, one female played a particularly rough game and finished out the game with yellow cards. Any soccer fan would realize the absurdity of that story. what the f is this sorcery- this is going a little too fast ms. zapata i thought they were gonna graze their fingers around 80% but the fact that they bumped shoulders in the first half i- this is too much.
