There's also a special knob on the right corner of the keyboard that is lit up with RGB lighting. It's designed primarily as a media controller, By default, it's been set up so you can turn the knob to raise or lower the volume of your speakers or headphones. You can also press down on it pause or play any audio or video media. However, you can make it do all sorts of other things with the keyboard's software utility. The Epomaker RT100 doesn’t support QMK/VIA software integration, which is a bit disappointing. Instead, it uses Epomaker’s own driver software which for all intents and purposes works well enough. It isn’t the fastest and the most intuitive software on the market, but unlike other softwares, it doesn’t come with bloatware and doesn’t crash, and that’s good enough in my books. Hardcore PC users, and the subset of hardcore PC gamers, know that keyboards are not all the same. A niche company called Epomaker has been creating a family of mechanical keyboards with some nice features for both ordinary use as well as playing Starfield or Call of Duty games. Our unit came with the Epomaker Sea Salt Silent switches, which are linear and come pre-lubed from the factory. The material consists of a POM stem, polycarbonate top and nylon bottom housing. The switches themselves look aesthetically pleasing with a yellow box-style top, a transparent case and light blue (sea colored?) bottom case. Don’t get me wrong — you will not find a reverse included in its gearbox or a rev limiter. It has a Yamaha Autolube lubrication system — a proprietary oil injection system that utilizes a mechanical oil pump and is ECU-controlled. Required engine oil is 1 L of SAE 10W-30 Yamalube 2-cycle oil or its equivalent, with a minimum SJ API grade, meeting JASO T903 MA standards (originally JASO FC or ISO EG-C, EG-D grades). Above the volume knob are two switches, one to change the compatibility from Windows to Mac, and the other is to turn on the wireless functionality. The keyboard supports USB-C, 2.4Ghz wireless, and Bluetooth connectivity, which can be paired with up to 3 devices by using the FN + 1/2/3 keys.

Epomaker RT100 - Software The RT100 is a 96% keyboard, which means that it sacrifices very few keys to squeeze everything into a compact form factor, while also offering a full numpad set. The keyboard is only about an inch bigger than a standard-size TKL keyboard, making it a great choice for gaming as well as for office use as it won’t take up as much space as a full 100% keyboard usually would. There are a few special physical features on the Epomaker RT100. There are a couple of special switches on the top right of the keyboard. One switches it so it works on Windows or Mac PC. The other switches between wired and wireless mode. As for the fuel tank, capacity is a bit miserly at 5 L/1.32 USgal. Aussie units warrant unleaded fuel, while all other markets can make do with regular petrol or gasoline. Pre-1993 Yamaha RT 100 models may have a 6V electrical system requiring A 12V upgrade kit, a new charging regulator, and a compatible battery format. Recommended cold- tire pressure for both knobbies is 125 kPa (1.25 kgf/cm2, 18 psi) and is suitable for off-road riding. As for brakes, right-hand/foot-operated drums complete its tire-and-wheel assembly. Suspension The first thing you might notice right off the bat is the keyboard's retro look. It definitely looks like a keyboard that old folks like me bought for personal computers in the late 1980s or 1990s. Again, the look is not flashy but it does conjure up some nostalgic feelings.The MDA profile took me a while to get used to, however, especially for someone who has mostly used Cherry/OEM profile keycaps before. There is a bit of height difference between the different rows of keys, but they are not as prominent as the Cherry profile, and are mostly flat which confused my muscle memory initially. Of course, you can always replace the keycaps with third-party ones but it would rob the keyboard out of its true essence and I would recommend against that. Despite its short-travel suspension layout, tight curves and hairpin bends can be easily executed with the bike’s 1,190-mm/46.8-inch wheelbase, 5.9-foot turning radius, and 200-mm/7.9-inch ground clearance.
