Although this is a high-build paint and will usually cover the area to be painted in one coat, 2 coats are required to ensure durability and maximum weather resistance. Coverage rate can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.

TIP: Colours will look brighter in direct sunlight, so bear this in mind when selecting the colour for your next exterior project.Older mortar joints may require further thin coatings if a light/white masonry paint is being applied as a topcoat. As Zinsser AllCoat contains a specific biocide to protect against fungal degradation, the coating gives a longer mould-free finish.

Rub down previously gloss painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly.I have only had this finish completed a few weeks, the rich thickness and texture indicates a solid product for what I needed. A great advantage of our smooth masonry paint is that it can be used in low temperatures and when rain is imminent. Please note: Colours are sold in the nearest tin size but actual paint volume per tin may vary up to 10% depending on colour.
