About this deal

The numeric keypad has been relocated to the right-hand set of keys and toggled via the usual Num-Lock. The Advantage2 may look big, but it actually has a smaller footprint than most keyboards because we eliminated the numeric 10-key so you can place the mouse closer to your body, reducing painful “over-reach”.

I found it very ergonomic to have the Ctrl key on both sides of your keyboard, and depending on which ctrl key combination I use, I use the opposite Ctrl key. All of our products are designed to work in conjunction with the human body to enhance comfort and boost productivity, at home or in the office. It comes with several new features, such as Adjustable Split, Wireless connection, Tenting, ZMK (highly customizable firmware), and many other minor things. However, it's something I use daily, sometimes up to 8 hours, and I think purchasing and spending this kind of money is OK if it's part of your daily job. Typing with straight wrists is essential in avoiding injuries because it reduces abduction and ulnar deviation which can lead to pain and injury.

Kinesis Freestyle 2 has a wealth of ergonomic design features to help improve productivity and protect against musculoskeletal injury. The new Advantage2 features our patented Contoured keyboard design and low-force mechanical key switches to address the major risk factors associated with keyboarding for maximum comfort. Inside the keyboard's box came four accessories: two braided USB-A to USB-C cables, a bridge connector to create the illusion of an Advantage2, and additional spare keycaps.

I Feel this is an awesome topic for TTaran though, I remember he had battled with RSI, and he is very good at hands-on reviews! Ideally, an ergonomic keyboard will be chosen to replace your standard computer keyboard so you can work in comfort, safely and efficiently.I have never used Brown switches in my life, but I have used Kailh Red, MX Red Silent, and MX Clear.

I also wrote a review about it if you're interested: My review of the Moonlander MK1 keyboard I've used the Moonlander for like 6-12 months; However, it wasn't for me, not because of the quality or hardware, but the design didn't work out for my small hands.

In this blog post, I will explain the significant design changes and my experiences with Advantage360. Kinesis Advantage 2 has a wealth of ergonomic design features to help improve productivity and protect against musculoskeletal injury. An ergonomic keyboard helps to optimise your workspace and a variety of designs are available to meet your physical and work needs. Offering the same ergonomic features as the Freestyle2, the Freestyle Pro builds upon this with additional benefits of programmability and tactile mechanical key switches. However, one day, my right pinky finger began to hurt excruciatingly, and I could not move it in any direction.

With optional accessory kits, the keyboard can be configured to allow complete separation and/or adjustable front splay, adjustable or fixed tenting, plus integrated and removable padded arm supports. Split keyboards are designed to adapt to the natural posture of your hands, arms and shoulders so you can work with good posture. I struggled initially because the syntax was entirely different, and ZMK lacked some pre-defined macros, such as the Hyper key. This premium-grade ergonomic keyboard, available from Keyboard Specialists Ltd (KBS) is designed with contoured keys and low profile mechanical switches. The Advantage360 Pro comes with ZMK, an open-source firmware that allows you to customize every keycap.
