About this deal

Whether looking at the dim bulbs of a pub, car headlights gleaming after dark, or the daylight cascading through an office window, this Hisense set was fully able to focus up to 700 nits peak brightness where it mattered, without notable blooming in surrounding pixels. 700 nits isn’t incredibly high, of course, compared to the 1,000-2,000 nits of some new Samsung TVs, but the U7QF knows what to do with what it’s given. The TCL 4 Series Roku TV delivers phenomenal value for the price. This 4K TV often sells for less than you’ll find bargain 1080p TVs. It has good color accuracy and supports HDR10 —but not Dolby Vision —for improved contrast. It uses Roku’s system software, which we think provides one of the best smart TV experiences available and has plenty of apps to choose from. We found it had a low lag time of 14 milliseconds during testing too, so this set also will handle fast-paced gaming well.

There’s more colour trouble, too, in the shape of striping/banding noise in areas of HDR imagery that should contain subtle colour blends. The 43A7GQTUKTV features a4K screen that brings out all the detail and colour in your movies, programmes and games. This beautiful-looking display enables all your content to look as clean and clear as possible, with deep contrast ratios and smooth motion. These occasional motion artefacts are not the only issues with the 43A6GTUK’s images. For starters, following a frustrating trend with Hisense’s current TVs, most of its picture presets aren’t helpful, with all but the Standard mode creating looks that really aren’t at all convincing. Want terrific picture quality, but you don’t have room for a full-size TV? The A90K will (literally and figuratively) brighten up any room, and is a major offering that should not be dismissed merely because of its minor size.Percentage Luminance drop at 35 degree horizontal angle from the centre of the screen with 50% white output Assembly is easy and, like before, there’s a cable clutter system to route cables through the protruding ‘feet’ of the stand for a tidier area. The stand supports the TV well, just like it did on the older model, but it takes up a lot of space.

Hisense E7HQ is a great choice for those who want an affordable 4K QLED TV. You get a colorful, crisp image, although the HDR brightness could be better. And the design of the TV will be a nice addition to your room. It is a pity that the sound is not quite up to par, but this is easily solved by connecting a separate sound bar. Please note: Failure to produce the card and relevant ID means we are unable to release goods on collection. Max light output HDR (high dynamic range) while displaying a live scene and white square taking up 60% of the screen (measured in Nits) Impressively, this TV has very good image processing, which is welcome for Hisense as that used to be a feature reserved for name brands such as LG and Sony. This makes it a cheaper home entertainment alternative to very expensive models from the two aforementioned brands, especially as it supports both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, as well as DTS advanced audio formats. Unfortunately, its viewing angle is disappointing, so it's not very well suited for a wide seating arrangement.

Measurements

It’s a curious situation, perhaps exacerbated by the new models in the Hisense range taking more importance. While the Hisense remains a capable performer, it falls short of in a few areas. We have now started delivering right to your door! Alternatively you can collect free of charge from one of our 7 branches (see steps below) The 43A6GTUK is another lesson from Hisense in how you can no longer judge a TV by its price point. Yes, there are weaknesses - its unhelpful presets, for example, and the slight de-saturation and occasionally banding in its colours. The bottom line, though, is that the 43A6GTUK offers more features and delivers a much greater level of picture and sound consistency than we’d have thought possible for so little money.
