About this deal

Lakeview House did not have listed building protection, or conservation area protection, but it was protected by condition of approval. Planners are obviously not familiar with this." And then, strange things start happening. Things that go bump in the night; whispers and music emanating from downstairs; a sodden wedding dress left on her doorstep; vivid dreams that are all too real that tell her something sinister happened in this very house. And then she meets Alfie, a teenager with an innocent demeanour who is younger than his years, who alludes to something called "the lake people". But as the days turn into nights, Maddy begins to question her decision to cut herself off in the middle of nowhere with no phone reception or help nearby, should something happen to her. Especially when it becomes clear that someone is trying to frighten her. But who? She doesn't know anyone really. She has only met sexy Seth, kooky Glenys and her adorable son Alfie. And Stella is the only one who knows where she is. Even Connor doesn't know...or does he?

Officers are of the opinion that the attractive vistas are on the approach to Lakeview House when travelling south on Gilford Road, which is a view to the front of the house."You can play billiards and darts at Lakeview House, and the area is popular for fishing and hiking. Barbecue facilities are included at the holiday home, and guests can also relax in the garden or go on a picnic in the picnic area. We had everything we needed and the house was lovely and clean. This means you can still communicate with residents no matter how far away you may be. The Cathedral City of Exeter has all the culture, shopping and restaurants that you might want but of course east Devon's villages are home to some excellent country pubs. This is the seventh book I have read by this author. I have previously read 'First Girl To Die', 'The Hiding Place' , 'The Girl In The Lake,' The Killer's Girl', 'One Left Alive' and 'Find The Girl' which I also recommend anyone read. These are requirements that were set at the previous inspection, but have still not been met. On 6th October, Lianne Johns and Clare Gallagher will be taking part in a daring skydive, all in the name of raising funds for Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care. Well done on yet another massive success Helen and here is to the next success in an amazing series 🥂 🎈 💐. This is EXACTLY why your one of my favourite authors!!!! 😍 But things are not as they seem in this rather imposing mansion. Either the house is haunted, or someone is trying to scare her off. Maddy's going to put up a fight.

Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms modern, the ensuite shower is the best. The garden is lovely and I'm sure in the good weather months is a fantastic social area. If you do have a dog there are a couple of escape routes. The house is set up quite a steep hill, there are some good shops and a good pub at the bottom of the hill. There are some beautiful little villages about a mile away Kingsand and Cawsand both with little shops and some beautiful eateries. Looe is about 7 miles and Polperro a few miles further. A great week away, great house , great hostsMaddy was a great protagonist, a writer struggling with second book syndrome and on the run from a controlling ex. So when the opportunity comes to escape she soon finds herself in a secluded crumbling mansion which just happens to be by a lake filled with dead people. The spacious holiday home features 4 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, a washing machine, and 2 bathrooms with a shower. The holiday home also has a seating area and 2 bathrooms. The accommodation offers a fireplace. The plot easily blends the two main threads of serial killer and cat and mouse and I found that both were equally intriguing. With the setting driving the chill factor along with one of the narrators having a more than unusual viewpoint this was a fast paced and highly addictive one sitting read. This part of east Devon is so easy to reach from both the M5 and the A303/A30. The market town of Honiton is a treasure trove of antiques shops and a short drive beyond it is the spectacular Jurassic Coast with all its little seaside towns and fishing villages for days out.

Three bedrooms are up on the second floor; a master with king size bed, en suite shower room and Juliet balcony, another super-king size room and twin room, both with zip link beds for added versatility. There is also a large family bathroom on this floor. I am excited to be taking part in the #BooksOnTour #BlogTour for Helen Phifer's chilling standalone thriller LAKEVIEW HOUSE.
