About this deal

The sourness pushed into my throat and made my ears hurt, if it had a sweeter aftertaste I could potentially enjoy that sensation but I am not a cranberry person so it just couldn't be done. Just all-round good beer, no overwhelming flavours and this is absolutely something I could see myself drinking again in the future, many, many times over.

Ending on a strong note, Hoppy Xmas is a great IPA with more of those flavours I love from BrewDog and another solid contender for my favourite beer. Our vegan sweets and treats advent calendar is the perfect way to indulge in some festive snacking every day leading up to Christmas.Festive offerings include Mince Pie Gin and Stollen Gin along with plenty of other flavoured and classic gins. I might be able to justify one or two of these while not exceeding my daily calories, and that is a winner in my books. Contains 1-(1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-Octahydro-2,3,8,8-Tetramethyl-2-Naphthyl)Ethan-1-One; Tetrahydrolinalool; Linalyl Acetate; Cineole ; Nerol; Geranyl Acetate; (E)-2-Methoxy-4-(Prop-1-Enyl) Phenol. With this one, there is a very present orange/citrus hit, nothing too overwhelming and makes for a great overall taste. Most chocolate Advent calendars reveal the same behind every door, but this Hershey's calendar has three different styles of cookies 'n' creme chocolate to open, including a mini bar for Christmas Eve.

beers are perhaps acquired tastes or have really prominent flavours that may not agree with everyone. Kicking off with a classic, this simple Cadbury's calendar is surely what comes to mind when you think back to being a child at Christmas? I discovered them back when I did Veganuary, when suddenly, simply because I couldn’t have just anything I gave myself crazy cravings for everything I *knew* was vegan – Oreos, original Pringles, Party Rings etc.

What stood out to us was the generous size of the contents within each of the 25 drawers (no miniatures here), plus the variety – from jam and chutney to tea, coffee, chocolates and even homewares with a candle and Christmas decorations. As with many of the other beers that pack a bigger flavour like this, it settles down well as you drink it so don't judge it by the first sip. One for the romantics: every door of this calendar contains two Hotel Chocolat truffles made for sharing. ingredients: sugar, glucose, citric acid, dextrose, maltodextrin, malic acid, beeswax, colour: E100, E141, E162. I don't see this as an everyday drink, more of a novelty or dessert beer, but the kind you shouldn't knock until you have tried!

Inside you'll find a selection of chutneys, jams, biscuits, teas and more – including several doors hiding miniature alcohol, from English cassis to Christmas gin, and an extra-special treat for Christmas Eve. Although there are only 12 doors inside, each one contains a 45g luxury bar so there's plenty to keep you going. We love the design with individual drawers revealing chocolate and there's plenty to discover in here – from creamy cremino chocolate stacks to caramelised hazelnut nougatine and crunchy-coated Chocoviar. We loved the vibrant yellow design, and despite the generously sized fillings, it still feels compact so won’t take over your whole kitchen. Please note, this is a limited-time sale with only a few of these magical advent calendars available. Here’s a classic filled with mini chocolates in fun festive shapes, and Hotel Chocolat also offers variations for dark, white or even unique caramel chocolate or nutmilk (made with hazelnuts) for vegans.

Embrace the festive season with our delightful range of Advent Calendars, designed to satisfy your sweet tooth as you count down to the big day. I do hope this starts more of a trend, I'd like to see smaller breweries teaming up to make a similar product for 2021 so I can have another great excuse to drink daily and still pretend I'm on a diet, but if BrewDog is the only ones next year to offer a calendar I won't be disappointed. The strangest thing is I don’t really like tropical fruit, so I would usually avoid flavours like pineapple and watermelon but Candy Kittens are different somehow…They are just impossibly tasty and have quickly become my favourite sweets! We loved that there are a whopping 24 flavours of tea within the calendar, so no repeats, with quirky flavours ranging from chocolate digestives to strawberry lemonade.Beautifully designed packaging: Our calendars are not only filled with delicious treats but also come in attractive packages, making them perfect for gifting. A fun way to have a boozy Advent calendar without being overwhelmed with minis – this offering from tonic experts Fever Tree combines 12 miniature gins (from brands such as Sipsmith and Hayman's) with 12 miniature tonics in a range of flavours, so you can build your pairings across the 24 doors. The double-door design opens up wide and contains a range of flavours to try, from festive gingerbread praline to salted caramel cream or fruity raspberry rush. It contains 12 generous 100g bags of Volcano coffee to enjoy (including limited edition festive blends), so plenty to keep you going all season.
