I cried a lot in the end (and i mean a lot) but it's not a Jessa Hastings book if the end doesn't break your heart.

from the very first moment i got to know daisy in dh1 i just knew she was a character that would touch my heart. But please I need more Daisy and Christian moments together cause that's what I'm here for, they’re my favourites from this series. This book was supposed to be about Christian and Daisy’s relationship, and the aspects of it we’re shown in the book I liked, but I felt their time together was overshadowed by Julian and Magnolia. Like I understand that we also have a Julian POV since he's also in the 2nd book and that Magnolia is a fav character in the mp universe but I somehow felt like their relationship takes over from this book more instead of Daisy and Christian.She is the goddess in the Botticelli clam shell, her eyes are the waterlilies in Monet’s pond, she is the hand of God reaching down to mankind.

just everything good, sometimes you forget that he’s actually rather dangerous and could beat the shit out of you in two seconds. him and her together = version of magnolia i don’t claim <3 i die peacefully knowing they’ll never be end game, and if that ever changes im never picking up a book again. i love julian, but i can’t lie even tho i get why he made the choices he made, they were still a little pathetic. I don't know what you did to upset this author but you better get on your knees and beg for forgiveness because it is very clear this author is holding a grudge. I cannot stress enough how I wish he would just drop everything and change life somewhere else so that not one of his stupid “friends” could ever find him because they all make his life as miserable as possible.at this point i’m pretty sure jessa isn’t capable of writing a story that doesn’t revolve around magnolia. Daisy and Christian looking at each other while donating blood for her nearly dead brother in the back while her current useless boyfriend is looking at them! And he is so used to taking care of Daisy that he kind of put Magnolia in that place of someone to take care of. i want him and Daisy to run away from Julian and the full box set (nobody in that friend group has ever defended him.

I know he didn't because it's going to be a plot point in Magnolia 3 and Daisy 3, but GOD she deserved to know what was at stake. and last but not least; please jessa have some mercy on my man’s heart i don’t think it can take anymore, like do you hate him or something ?On top of this unbearable mess with Magnolia (made worse by her usual dumb ass and whiny behavior) I’m convinced the author doesn’t know shit about how the mafia works because WHO in their right minds would hold a mafia G6 meeting in their own fucking house (which by the way the police knows very well) and survive it? i love and appreciate christian so much, i honestly just want a man to love my like christian loves daisy.

They had one good scene when they were laughing about Christian's sex tape, so I guess there's that.

I love Julian and seeing another guy fell in love with a girl that we all know isn't going to love him was really fucking painful. too many plot lines, too many useless characters (YES TILLER, I AM LOOKING AT YOU) and not enough twists. Christian reading that book because he wanted to be able to discuss Daisy's interests with her>>> Literally zero complaints. her past and her relationship with her mother always break my heart, and i absolutely despise her mother. That scene where she interrupted the gang meeting was the most second hand embarrassment I've gotten from a character in a LONG time.
