The inflatable beam design of the Berghaus Air 4 tent provides a special camping experience and a super-quick pitching time. Just two beams to inflate on the porch, when placing the inflated porch to the tent doorway, make sure the pockets where the ends of the brow pole sit at the door don't rub against the beams. Best I can suggest is use 12v power pack and Gale type pump, but if you are complaining about lugging all your kit as it is, you'd be adding a LOT more Kg's to your existing burden!

We spent three weeks in the Berghaus 8 man blow up tent during our summer holidays in France and Spain and we look forward to many more years of family camping in it. Instead of waking up sauna style, sweating and gasping for air, we found the tent really breathable. Oh yes - to the gentleman who said that a footprint isn't available, I'm sorry to contradict you, but oh yes there is. With my battery air compressor the recommendation is 10 mins max (then give it a break) to avoid it overheating. Most compressors are designed for tyres with a much reduced volume compared to a set of airbeams, albeit at higher pressure which balances out to some degree!There is a zipped access point on both sides of the tent for an electrical hook up and the central beam is fitted with velcro cable routing to keep wires tidy and out of the way.

I’d also recommend getting a mat for outside the front porch to stop everyone traipsing mud and sand into the tent.
