My daughter who has normal to dry skin ( I have combination) has also used this product for the same amount of time and she is also impressed as well and does not mind the fragrance either but this is also due in part to our ‘special memories’.

Instead of the powder more so melting into my skin and setting normally, there are white dots of product that don’t go anywhere.

I personally would not use as a ‘foundation’ even in a different colour as do not like the feel of just applying a loose powder to my ‘bare’ face unless it is the Bare Minerals foundation.

It will mattify you GOOD, to the point where you may not need a single touch up in an 8 hour day, so if you are a dewy skin lover or a au natural type, this might be too much for every day wear. Both translucent and extra coverage are brilliant shade wise so if your very fair skinned than this is a great face powder to use. I have used other finishing powders in the past and although thought they were good none impressed me enough to want to let everyone know about them.I don't think I will run out of this in the next 5 years, as my old powder was 12g and I've had that for a year and it hasn't run out yet! I changed my brush to a more fluffy one and that helped to apply less and I didn’t have an issue with it being cake-y anymore. I would say the powder gave me a demi matte finish- it wasn't completely matte, but it wasn't shiny either. suppose some people just cant see past it just like wearing a parfum thats very irritating ,its one of those you like it or you don't it might not be for everyone but its definitely doesn't stink like some referred. I really hope that they don't ever stop making it, because I doubt I will ever use another face powder product again now that I've found this. It’s maybe good for ten applications and then it starts to get cakey because it grabs some of the foundation over time. I find that it sets nicely after baking and fairly buildable, but that lasted for only a few hours top. Also helps my eye shadow, eyeliner last longer and my skin does not feel ‘clogged’ up as other powders seem to make my skin feel. Maybe thats just my nose though, but the scent is quite strong so its lucky that I like the muskier scents! I love this product so much, it provides a fantastic lasting finish on your make up without looking like you've lost a fight with the flour cupboard. First of all I have to say there is a strong smell of the product once you take the protective cover of which I know some people may not like but I do not mind as it smells to me personally like a Max Factor Crème Puff Powder Foundation Compact that my Granny / Mother used to use so it holds v special memories for me but if this was not the case I may find the fragrance a bit strong initially as well.
