About this deal

The Elite 85h are designed for more casual use and have a more neutral sound profile out-of-the-box. I actually had to force my phone to forget the Bluetooth connection to the Jabra Evolve2 85, and reconnect them. The Jabra Evolve2 85 MS is Jabra's flagship wireless stereo headset that offers USB and Bluetooth connectivity. With the Jabra Evolve2 85 MS Teams, you will experience professional performance adapted to society’s changing needs.

It slides cleanly down and rotates into place with a two step action that’s very *Business Mode: Engage* and you might be forgiven for thinking you’ll need to repeat this procedure in public, stomaching the chagrin and pretending to be very srs… but no… Jabra are keen to make sure your cool headphones look cool outside in front of random strangers you’ll never see again. This feature might be useful to some, but I feel it’s probably best used as a way to prolong the life of the headset once the battery is well and truly dead. If it works on your device, the app should allow you to customize your headphones’ settings such as the amount of time before the headset enters sleep mode, configure head detection, Busy light, ANC and HearThrough settings, and customize the sound signature. The Evolve2 range is the most immersive experience yet, with powerful digital hybridActive Noise Cancellation (ANC), and incredible noise isolation cancels 54% more of the noise around you.The integrated BLF is visible from all angles, acting as a do-not-disturb sign and protecting your focus. Evolve2 85 works with all leading Unified Communications (UC) platforms, for truly seamless collaboration. The Jabra Evolve2 85 Wireless and Jabra Elite 85h Wireless are very evenly matched over-ear headphones.

They have a very comfortable fit and enough battery life to get you through your 9 to 5 without an issue. It would have been nice to try using the in-app equalizer because the built-in frequency response of the Jabra Evolve2 85 has quite a moderate bass response. This only seems to happen if “Sound” settings is configured to use the Jabra microphone input, and presumably Linux keeping the microphone “hot” is what causes the conflict. The Jabra Evolve2 85 are very similar in appearance to the Jabra Elite 85h Wireless, except for their flippable boom microphone. Unfortunately, they have high wireless latency and a fairly bulky design, which makes them a little bit of a nuisance to carry around. They're very comfortable and deliver amazing battery life, so you should have no trouble wearing them throughout long cross-country flights or long train rides.

Business telephone systems allow multi line communications for your workplace with advanced administration features. You can use them as they charge, so long as you're connected over Bluetooth or via their proprietary dongle. The Evolve2 85 held up excellently in all cases, although Linux’s audio subsystem can lead to some irritating quirks and – as you might guess – Jabra’s desktop software (which is actually… not bad and has changed since my review of the 65) is *not* available on Linux. Their boom microphone makes your voice sound natural, clear, and mostly free of background noise, so people on the other end of the line shouldn't have trouble understanding you.
