Similarly, a few issues later in Pak and Matt Gaudio's fourth issue, Buffalo and Billy are able to remind Calamity about a young John Wick just by name-dropping as "that kid, Johnny. So I guess it was with that expectation that I bought this comic, thinking it might be an origin graphic novel. I'm just so disappointed and annoyed right now, and feel I've already wasted enough of my mental energy on this.

There are also some really brain-breaking life choices made by John toward the end, but that pales in comparison and I'm too lazy to elaborate. Ax-Crazy: Calamity is a violent, unhinged Psychopathic Manchild that goes out of her way to kill everyone in her path, regardless if she’s being paid to or not and only hesitating if it ruins her sense of fun.He is a deadly combatant and proficient with handguns, rifles, knives, and various other forms of weaponry as well as with hand-to-hand fighting. Even a "by the books" John Wick adventure would be fine so long as it replicated the stylish appeal of the films, but the loose, poorly defined artwork in this issue can't manage that feat.
