My favourite part of the GT 1000 series is the grip and durability of its outsole and the GT 1000 10 continues to build on that.It is substantial in the heel and midfoot but lacking some in the forefoot because of the impact felt during runs. I’m only light and short as a runner but find as a flat arched runner the arch support is more than adequate not adding extra gel in that may not be necessary. How your foot contacts the groundThe foot lands on outside of heel, then rolls inward (pronates) excessively, transferring weight to inner edge instead of ball of the foot. On the outer heel only, the gel helps dampen my foot strike and roll my foot back for the next stride. There's lungfuls of pine, citrus and floral notes in the aroma, alongside sticky guava, mango, grapefruit and gooseberry on the palate.
