And the wood turned out absolutely fantastic, I may have to get more models with wood grain because brushing on Wyldwood contrast is just so dang satisfying. Using high-quality printed terrain, combined with GW models from the Azyrite set, this set is perfect for adding some vibrancy and wildness to your wargames. I chose a very effective approach for painting the stonework: I sprayed everything black, then added a zenithal highlight, not with an airbrush, but dark grey spray from Vallejo. Then it was a simple case to apply the wash to all the stonework on the ruins and let it dry, as always keeping an eye out for any pooling.This is a larger, clunkier type of plastic that it will clean up decently, but there are a TON of mold lines everywhere. As it’s fairly similar and a certain Youtube painters bang on about it I decided to get some Vallejo Model Colour Pale Sand.

This is doused down with a slightly darker ink before a little bit of drybrushing to help out with the details.
