About this deal

The way he acted, the things he said, just everything about him was more than I ever realized I wanted to see from a book boyfriend. i was a little excited that it was long because i thought it’d have lots of ups and downs but it plateaus early on and then it’s just chapter after chapter of the same thing and conversations. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. He’s a smooth talker but what in his past would cause her to believe he’s after more than just one thing from her? I suspect this very inaccessibility and exclusivity is part of what makes hockey appealing to so many romance authors, in the same way the billionaire heroes appeal.

I understand I can change my preference through my account settings or unsubscribe directly from any marketing communications at any time. An archery romance might be cool but I have zero interest in a novel-length romance focused on long-distance swimming (and swimming was my favorite sport when I was a kid!I keep thinking I should give her a shot since I’ve heard good things and her books sound good, but somehow that always gets in my way. But that’s still less diverse than the NBA, the WNBA, the NFL, and yes, the MLS, which apparently has 60% athletes of color (surprising, given the number of white parents enrolling their kids in soccer). Listening to the narration was a definite upgrade from simply reading the text, and it also helps makes the experience more immersive. The hero at the heart of it undergoes SUCH a transformation from start to finish, and I absolutely adored seeing him work to earn his girl’s trust and love. I HAVE SUCH A HARD TIME RATING AND REVIEWING THIS BECAUSE I SOMEHOW LIKED IT BUT ALSO SOMEHOW DIDN'T?

Sure, he may be pretty, but he's also a walking, talking reminder for you to wrap it before you tap it. There have been some books about figure skaters, Kathleen Gilles Seidel wrote about snowboarders, and of course there are boxing books, and some about soccer. I for one would love a niche sports anthology and I can’t believe nobody has done one as an Olympic tie-in).It seemed like the characters completely changed their personalities by like 30% and everything kinda lost its appeal to me. How cuddly they were (i guess it is in the same team as cute and fluffy but i am in a good mood so i give extra points for that! The female narrator gives a solid performance, but it’s the male narrator who really takes things up a notch. But with that said, I’m going to quickly complain about the ending conflict - I saw it coming from the second the forshadowings were placed and the way it all played out felt very rushed. I also think I'd mention that Olivia is rather insecure at times, although I think it's understandable.
