Second time was even better than the first and whether that was because it was in a different format or because i was already familiar with the world, I 10/10 recommend giving this a try!

I love romantic suspense novels and this one was the perfect blend of romance and the suspense plot woven through. Though this books gives us some what of a conclusion to Jason and Jules, the story continues much to my delight with the dream team as they continue to work to unveil the puppet master behind the events disrupting Jason, Jules and the teams lives.

Alright so let me start off by saying if you suffer from any type of mental illness including anxiety, please don’t read this until you’re in a good mind frame. It’s always nice to read a book, and not be able to compare it to anything else you’ve previously read.Ever since he ghosted her, Jules has made a name for herself, arguing for second chances in every courthouse across the southeast. Yes, it is horrifying how the villains thrive, and maybe the reason is that many people just don't want to believe that such evil is possible, they prefer to live their normal lives in their micro-universe and forget that war, human trafficking and child abuse are real as long as it doesn't impact them. The plot moved at a great pace, there were some good twists and turns thrown in there and the ending was fantastic! I really enjoyed the characters, there were some beautiful scenes and portrayal of mental health struggle and how sometimes just because it’s not as bad as it can be doesn’t mean that you’re not struggling and in pain. It's an emotional ride with Jason and Jules and you will love the twists and turns along the way, along with some serious hotness.

A born and raised Carolinian, Greer says “y’all”, the occasional “bless your heart” (when necessary), and feels comfortable using legal jargon in everyday life. There is no better way to escape than to turn her island honeymoon into a much-needed vacation with her girls. Just listening and hearing the voices come to life, is amazing and they sound exactly what I thought they would. I might like girly things, but I’m much more likely to spray you with bullets then sprinkle you with glitter.
