Through several incidents, findings, ease droppings, Jill and David plotted their escape for help as they knew they were in a place where everything was abnormal. It acts as a GCSE school to fool the authorities and even the parents who put their children in Grange are not informed about the involvement of magic. I'm a little bothered that David, the main character hasn't decided whether he'll be practicing black magic or white magic.

The graphic novel is a brilliant adaptation of the full novel, bringing comedy and horror together perfectly… Darkly comedic, this GN will certainly appeal to a lot of readers and hopefully they will then find the original to enjoy as well. However, on all attempts they failed and on their 13th birthdays, they were converted to the magical side at Groosham Grange. It introduces a detective by the name of Daniel Hawthorne - a rather dark and dangerous man whom I actually met on the set of Injustice.Anthony Horowitz wrote Groosham Grange before the Harry Potter series came out, yet it is hard to read Groosham without comparing it to Harry Potter. Horowitz nicely demonstrates the age-gap (or in this case, the age-yawning-void) perpetuated by the central characters’ parents, who impose their values, ideals, and dreams on the next generation without finding out what their children actually want. Misterious activies are happening at the school, as David realizes the colleagues go missing in the middle of the night but appear in their beds in the morning again. Meanwhile, Jill had just run away from her old boarding school, and her parents also received a letter praising the school's merits and describing it as a chic college for young girls. It uses simple and informative language which engages the reader and sets the finish of each chapter with the suspense of wanting to continue. Cuando iba en primaria leí El grial oculto, sin saber que se trataba de una segunda parte y logré disfrutarlo mucho, de hecho, aquel libro significa mucho, fue por él que descubrí el gusto por la lectura.
