About this deal

Not only does the egg respond to your touch and movement but if you put it on a flat surface, it also rocks gently back and forth. To be honest though, I’ve always thought they wouldn’t have that much play value but after reading this I feel more reassured that actually it is something they would play with for a while. Bouncing Baby (flashing blue eyes) – touch and hold right foot, when the music plays bounce the baby backwards and forwards. The first was the anticipation of whether we were going to have a boy or a girl, predictably Logan wanted a boy and Aria a girl – declaring she had already had a new baby brother a few months ago! Inside the sealed compartments are the Hatchibaby’s accessories, and the blue container is actually a high chair for your Hatchibaby.

You can brush your Hatchimals HatchiBabies hair with the comb, sit her in her highchair and also put them in the egg base. The gremlin was beside herself ready to hatch her HatchiBabies and after school we sat down and started the process by pulling the two little plastic togs out of the bottom of the egg.

The egg comes with a cheat sheet telling you all the eye colours and what they mean before and after hatching, so you know just what you need to do and it was a piece of paper my son took very seriously!Ponette come with a rattle, a hairbrush, a bottle and a cuddle buddy, and the actual egg turns into a highchair! At the very bottom of the egg is a very tiny scroll (I had to look several times to find it as it’s so small) to tell you what sex baby you have. The egg won’t hatch without you interacting with it and you can turn it off at any point by turning it upside down for 25 seconds, so don’t worry about it happening without you.

Each of the varieties come in both hatchiboys and hatchigirls versions, but you won't know which you have until your Hatchibaby has hatched! Hatchimals have taken the same trusted formula and added in so many more ways to play, fun accessories and unique touches.

Loving all the latest surprise style toys it was no surprise that both my six year old little girl and my nine year old little boy loved the hatching of the egg. The HatchiBabies come in two new species – Ponette and Cheetree – both from the Hatchery Nursery in Hatchtopia. Each eye colour means something different, for example purple means hungry, so feed the Hatchibaby with the bottle. My boys were very lucky this week because they were sent a brand new Hatchimals Hatchibaby to review. I was surprised by how much there was do to with the Hatchimal and he’s proven really popular with both of my kids and think they’ll continue to be entertained by him for a good while yet.
