Hugo Boss Man Extreme Eau De Parfum Spray (75ml) is a revitalised version of the iconic fashion house's original men's fragrance, released back in 1995. Hugo Extreme is very similar to the classic Hugo Man from 1995,and looks like a pretty nice upgrade as far as performance go. It’s very herbal, I don’t get much of the fruitiness so if you’re expecting to smell like sweet apple, consider a different fragrance.

Also I feel like it lasted about as long as the original but projected much better (in my opinion it was more noticeable than the og). It is now in a bottle similar to that of Hugo Dark Blue (1999), despite having much more in common with the original Hugo (1995). Hugo Man Extreme is an enlivening men's fragrance opening with mouth watering green apple, backed by a powerful blend of lavender, sage and geranium combined with aromatic cedarwood and fir resin making an unmistakably masculine scent. I don't think Hugo Extreme is much different than the others in the line in this regard, so I won't be getting any more of them, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the fragrance. Reminds me samples of Avon freshy fragrances that I used to got in highschool from girls who were consultants.

It's not quite as fresh as the original (base notes and the sage are more dominant in my bottle) but the longevity is nothing short of exceptional. So I was going to get the OG again at some point because it's one of the best warmer weather dumb reach fragrances in history but still has a uniqueness to it while being casual as well as office appropriate. Hugo man extreme is a bold masculine scent designed for the modern, sophisticated and enthusiastic man. It's not a green apple such as in Lacoste - Style in play, it's a bit more sweet and fresh, I'd say out of shower, but definitely not synthetic. The crisp apple is more prominent at the top, but it settles softly into a warmer, slightly resinous woody base which is offset nicely but the sage and lavender.In the same ballpark as Jo Malone 154 Cologne, Brooks Brothers Classic, and Dunhill Edition, as far as scent goes.
