We didn’t do much exploring the area as it was quite hot while we were there and didn’t want to drag the kids around site seeing, we did however go to ‘Park Kids’ which was under €50 for a family of four, it was quiet on the day we went but it was a nice day out, there was also a little theme park next door and a water park in the same area but we didn’t try these out.

We spent 10 days at La Rive at the start of August, and after reading some of the reviews thought i would share my thoughts. I nearly scored a 3 but went for 4 in the end as the site overall is very good and some of my issues were likely down to personal preference. We found the food set up a bit strange for a 5 star resort, the restaurant was nice but not somewhere you’d want to go every night especially with children but the only other options were take away vans or pizza. I believe the wine tasting is on daily and as far as I am aware there is no limit on how many times you can go back (I may be wrong). Take advantage of a wide choice of mobile homes in different ranges: family, comfort, privilege and prestige.In fact, for just a camping emplacement we were looking at over 700euros yet our mobile home, a top tier mobile home, cost only slightly more.
