The magical opening continues into the middle notes, where you are welcomed with honied and powdery amber, that feels rich, three-dimensional, and verges on the unisex side of the specter. Very different than my normal fragrances; normally I"m a Blue fragrance wearer, this is a different experience. This version that I review here lost a lot of that powdery smell and gained more artificial nuances, for obvious reasons, but it's still beautiful and with great performance. Whether you use Classic EDT for work, parties, or romantic evenings, you will experience how this fragrance adds an extra dimension to your style and presence.

And, as he says, Classic is enjoyed best as a composition rather than trying to dissect individual notes. The opening notes of Bay Laurel Leaf and Hazelnut Leaf are not green and smell a little weird that will take time to get used to.I will end this review saying one last thing,if you have patience and allow this fragrance to develop into the beautiful scent that it is you will not be disappointed. The warmer and more sensual side emerges, the vanilla flirts with oakmoss, but the relationship is passive-aggressive.

Equipage and Gentleman share the note of cinnamon, but Equipage has the cinnamon turned up to balance well-controlled old-school musk.
