About this deal

The book is beautifully written – well it would be: it's Cathy Cassidy – and the pages turn very easily. Je me rappelais que l'intrigue était nébuleuse mais j'espérais obtenir des réponses à certaines questions qui restent pourtant en suspens. This is the second book in the Chocolate Box Girls series, precedes Summer's Dream and succeeds Cherry Crush. A big argument broke out between Honey and her mother, so Skye, who normally kept quiet, yelled at Honey. Honey is still not coping with the fact that her father has left – and is now living in Australia – or with the arrival of Paddy and Cherry.

When Skye accidentally fell asleep in Clara's clothes, she dreamt of Clara's life, dancing around a fire with a gypsy boy, named Finch, she'd never met.

You could read this as a standalone book, but you'll get more from it if you've read Cherry Crush first.

Now that her stepsister and stepfather, Cherry and Paddy, have moved in, things just won't go right for Skye Turnberry. And then she finds herself falling in love with an equally long-dead gypsy boy – a boy who probably is just a figment of her imagination… But is he? At one point, I wanted to just yell at Summer and shake her, like: “can’t you see how much you are hurting Skye? Her story is apparently a famous one in the area and she used to live in Skye's house and supposedly haunts it. Dikiranya Alfie menyukai Skye karena ia selalu menemani dan mendekatinya tetapi apa disangka Alfie menyukai Summer, kembarannya.Skye on muutenkin samaistuttava hahmo ja Suklaamurusten tunnelma ja kirjoitustyyli jotenkin vain ihana! Fourteen-year-old Honey, who used to be the “coolest sister” ever, but since the whole Cherry-Shay and Dad-moving-to-Australia, had been “off the rails”. Boys and makeup and fashion seem to occupy Millie's mind and Skye struggles to find the subjects interesting. Skye tells us her story in her own words and it's going to be immediately accessible to girls in the tweens and early teens.

I'm many times the target age for the book, but I enjoyed it for the simple reason that a good book is a good book no matter what age group it's written for. There's an added complication for Skye because she's a twin and people assume that they are the same. Somehow, in these almost 100 years, nobody has been interested in the belongings in the attic that supposedly once belonged to a ghost that haunts the house. I don't even know what to say at this point other than this book is bad, it doesn't even have much toxic crap it's mostly just boring dull shite.Skye is of course twelve years old, and she's oh so cool and unique and Not Like The Other Girls™ because she likes to wear unusual vintage clothes.

Obviously most books are like this, but Marshmallow Skye really stood out to me in the way the story was described. Skye cewek berumur 12 tahun yang bentar lagi beranjak menjadi 13 tahun pada tgl 14 Februari bersamaan dengan saudara kembarnya yaitu Summer. In the last page is where all the magic happens, and I think Cathy could have possible spread that over more pages, possibly a chapter. I, personally, never have been the kind of girl that's really feminime, so this book is kinda too much for me. She then runs out into the snow because she thinks she sees Finch, collapses and gets ill, and later meets a boy named Jamie Finch who's obviously set up to be a love interest and I don't care. They do everything together, but lately, Skye's been feeling like second-best - it's the story of her life. Skye Tanberry feels like her twin sister is way better than her so when she gets a trunk of old vintage clothes from a dead relative skye starts having weird dreams that are sweeter than real life.
