About this deal

The rules are based around the Club 2000 i/c class and makes for a robust fun sport using a model with a 3536 / 1400 motor 8 x 6 propeller, 4's Lipo battery and the rpm limiting esc.

The decision to work from source data is one reason that inherently limits the tower type coverage that I will be able to achieve. As a result of such inference, the image gets partitioned into a set of segments that may come from different layers of the tree.It won't replace the 88,000 lattice pylons that currently bestride the UK countryside, but it will principally be used in the construction of new power lines in England and Wales. The competition was close and exciting as we had 15 to 20 pilots dueling it out to win the top spot. But as stated above like many large structures and trees etc a true scale model would most definitely overpower the scene, so maybe scaled down models that look visually correct is the way to go.

This is a subject that has often made me think as they seem to be a feature close to many railway lines /sites, and never seem to feature. After eight rounds of racing, the team of Roy Andrassy and Cory Paine from Canada cruised into first place and fastest time! For PL1 vs PL1b I will just lump the whole lot in together for now, as nobody seems to have a clue what the difference is. SF” seems to denote a low-height design regardless of series — it’s one of the prefixes that Flash Bristow did not cover. This means that with suitable ply spars (a recommended mod anyway), I can remove a bit of the front of the wing, hopefully enough to get a battery through and then have the top fairing / canopy a removable hatch cover. I'm not interested in racing, just as a very fast sport model and happily accept that its a little heavier than my Viper. I did pass by them some years ago but need to do a full survey of them at some point, something else to do lol. non-bible DT (Cell Barnes, St Albans), and a standard L16/L55 D2 (L16 D2 and L55 D2 are identical) from the same line (a 17-mile walk in the most recent heatwave), both from my growing backlog! I need to complete phase 1 of the Tower Bible drawings, plus clean up all my own photos (got a few more types to come, including PL7 DDT and what may be PL4 DD2, although there is another four-crossarm DD type buried here on one of the pages that is neither PL4 nor in the Tower Bible).

L3/L3c implies both, so I must be careful to indicate that I don’t know which flavour it is, and XOR is outside of the scope of English! The qualifying/finals format presents different strategies for competing, and many are just trying to make the finals. Somewhere here there is something like L2 D40EC with what did appear to be extended middle crossarms. At the moment, it is just a few thoughts and I don't know for certain if it will work, but I am fairly confident.I used to own an F5D Viper - it was a great model in the air but built and designed as a competition model it was fragile on landing - especially at the high speed that it always flew at even on the glide. RIBA, the department of Energy and Climate Change, and the National Grid launched the Pylon Design Competition in May 2011, seeking to find the next generation of electricity pylon for the UK.
