Useful to teach them counting up to 10, recognising different numbers and simple subtraction and addition. Later on, your child will be able to see more complex mathematical ideas, like how two fours make eight, three twos make six, and so on. Activities can include matching shapes to numeral cards, creating number lines or filling the shapes with pegs.
