About this deal

Having watched cancer take someone special from me and my family, it was already a story I knew would be emotional for me, but I really wasn’t at all expecting how much it would inspire me. The book is illustrated with really beautiful photographs along with some line drawings that highlight some classical paintings and even some lava lamps.

The Vielmetter gallery in Los Angeles is currently hosting a solo exhibition of paintings by Celia Paul, artist and author of the New York Review Books memoirs Self-Portrait and Letters to Gwen John. Exhibits of cloud images captured on film by John Day have been and/or are on exhibit in a number of public galleries including the Brooks Institute of Photography, Santa Barbara, Californa, and The Hong Kong Science Museum. Peters’s book will not only change how we think about media but provide a new appreciation for the day-to-day foundations of life on earth that we so often take for granted.They look up at certain cloud formations in the sky and then use this book as a resource to figure out what kind it is. He tells her yet another fantastical story, and it’s only when tragedy strikes that Tabby wonders … could Grandad’s impossible tale be true?
