The Mauritius DODO Dark Rum is a brown rum from Mauritius, the famous holiday island in the Indian Ocean. This bottling contains rum column still distilled from molasses, and matured in a mixture of French and American oak.
The rum is a blend of spirits aged 5, 6 and 12 years, ensuring both excellent balance and complexity.Light sweet coconut aromas on the nose which give way to a full round mellow coconut taste on the palate. Following which it left to macerate with fresh coconut and a little sugar over a period of time for the flavours to aromas to blossom.
