The new G12evo Ready Mix product is more environmentally friendly and replaces the G13 predecessor, G12 Plus Plus. Glad I drained the whole thing, can I please get a confirmation G12 is the correct coolant to refill the empty system with? I have been performing the checks on my 2017 Q3 and noticed that the header tank specifies G12 coolant. Like previous ratings for this product, was not too sure if it needed to be diluted but the bottle is clearly marked as Concentrate.

I have G12 ++ in there currently but the Audi dealership gave my partner G13 and said it would be fine. An excessive proportion of coolant additive (more than 60 per cent) can result in bursting pipes and the engine boiling, while an insufficient amount (less than 40 per cent) can cause cracks in the cylinder block/head or in the cooling system through expansion of the coolant. Genuine G12evo (new version of G13) coolant additives protect individual engine components, safeguarding the engine’s long service life.

I guess it's more about corrosion protection in the UK, or is it more about summer efficiency as it's not getting either of that cold in the uk winter is it?
