After a series of unlikely adventures, the boys serendipitously foil a gang of fur-coat smugglers, and receive a reward from the police. as always cant fault richmal crompton, old fashioned it definitely is and as ever with stories written so long ago, some details jar, not always totally pc, but lovely to listen to, makes me happy and helps me sleep, and just to generally feel that life is not so bad after all! Scruffy, mud-stained and mischievous, William is a lovable scamp whose hilarious pranks usually end in disaster - for his harassed elders at least.
