About this deal

Please note – it is important to check the number and condition of your delivered items before signing for them, as they can occasionally be damaged in transit. If measured and fitted correctly, it will essentially form a double-glazed solution for your windows - that in turn helps with heat retention, sound reduction, and has been proven to eliminate condensation. We have extensive experience working closely with a wide range of businesses to deliver excellent value. We are working towards installing nationally but at present there is no surplus charge within a 50 kilometre radius of our Telford base or one of our national installers.

The Easyfix Double Glazing kit comes with a strip of PVC that can be cut to the length you require and a mitre gauge (included) that allows you easily to cut in neat corners to fix around your double glazing pane. Therefore it has the flexibility to follow the uneven contours of old window frames and still achieve an efficient perimeter seal. This glazing kit consists of a clear as glass acrylic pane which is held in position at your window with a self adhesive powerful magnetic tape (10m long, 25mm wide) - instantly attachable and detachable for great convenience. This tape is perfect for use with: secondary double glazing, and carries the same solvent-acrylic adhesive as our magnetic tapes and so will bond with most surfaces to prepare a back drop for our magnetic tape.

Bearing in mind that the combined thickness of the steel/magnetic tapes with their adhesives is approx 3. You could actually use the magnetic tape on some fine mesh which can act as a Fly Screen in the summer with the existing Steel Tape. All you need to do is take off the protective linings and remove the release liner to expose the self-adhesive and press it into place. Magnet Glaze comprises of two self-adhesive strips, one of which is magnetised whilst the other is steel. Specific colour requirements can be met by our colour matching service, providing almost any shade or colour requested.

Opinions on the subject vary, especially as much of the information about noise reducing properties of windows comes from manufacturers themselves. This secondary glazing tape bundle contains all you need for fixing: Secondary Double Glazing Perspex, onto existing window frames, or to install secondary glazing using acrylic panels. Enter the sizes you need for your secondary glazing pane above then select the number of rolls of magnetic tape you require. This provides easy, quick and cost effective heat and noise insulation along with instant access to your window making cleaning and ventilation simple. In quality terms the type and grade of material will be identical - only the brand name will be different. Each panel will be sanded to remove any sharp edges, is lightweight, and can easily be lifted off, and 'parked' on top of an adjacent panel so you won't have a loose panel to worry about whilst the window is open. Window frame modifications will be required – please contact us for advice with pictures of your window so we can discuss a solution with you. It is also low-tack, meaning it should not chip or stick to your paintwork, though we do recommend being ultra-careful when it comes to removal.

For the Magnetglaze Extreme product, the 25 x 3mm or 25 x 5mm Strips are likely to be most suitable - stick them in the correct position for your panel then add the steel tape to them, ensuring they are butted up close to maintain the thermal seal for your secondary pane.Magneglaze® panels are manufactured to the highest possible standards using our own special purpose machines.
