Harrods’ flaws, compared to Morrisons, apparently were a muffled bang, only 78 decibels, and flimsy hat. This means all Morrisons cards, crackers, wrapping paper, present bags, flowers, plants and wreaths are now 100 per cent glitter-free. They are also ideal for anyone determined to create the perfect Christmas table as the crackers are square and won’t roll and ruin your dinner settings.

I personally think you could drop this to 3/4 cup butter and 3/4 cup sugar if you want it to end up less sweet and more salty.

The shoebox shape boxes from the other two retailers seemed more resilient with just enough gap to see what was inside. They included a tape measure, cookie cutter, pencils, marbles, nail clippers and the obligatory metal puzzle, (which I’m not sure anybody actually does).
