Between the two of them, it sounded like a Disney film with all the characters overacted to the extreme. I would love to let you know about the story but I cannot as I got to chapter 10 and stopped listening. I highly recommend reading over the trigger warnings that the author provides for this book before reading it yourself.

I will throw in that most people that recommended this book read physical copies, so maybe it is because of the creepy old man and his terrible narration (especially Diesel's voice). Again, I do not want to kink-shame anyone, but I can't get my head around the logistics of some of these sex scenes - there's just no way some of them are possible without death / serious harm.Kenzo is charming, but he will steal your money from you by gambling, and he’s taken a liking to her. Obviously this book is doing pretty well and the author can laugh her way to the bank, criticism aside, but her style is not my thing at all. So, I picked up this book after finishing another dark romance series, and holy crap did it hit the spot. His extremely affectionate and bold personality with his little bird when he wasn't getting down and freaky helped to offset his more extreme sexual proclivities helping to Showcase a much more human side to him, at least with his little bird. Storyline/My Thoughts: I’m going to admit, too, that this book was not a favorite, but I did like some aspects of it.

Ryder assumes the weight of being the leader of the Vipers, he blames himself when things happens, and he tries to shelter his brothers even when they want to help him. All of the guys are very different yet they fit together like a well oiled machine, and even though the story would have been fine with only Roxy telling it, the guys’ POV allows for us to really understand their pains and past that would have been more difficult to pick up with only Roxy. I had originally given the book a 5 star review but after sitting with the story for a while I dropped a star because there could have been more with the subplots that would have made the story more than just a smutty instalove reverse harem. Normally these guys don't deal with flesh but they have to show the city that they aren't going soft. The audiobook was told in multiple points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Hollie Jackson and Cornell Collins.

However, as we get the history of each of these characters I was surprised to figure out that both Diesel and Garrett are completely loveable.It ruined the whole story, I could not listen to the story because I spent the whole time listening to the mis-pronunciation of every other word. at one point the “nice” guy of the bunch rapes roxy and the psychopath guy can’t believe she would even think to blame the nice guy. Ryder ultimately feels responsible for his fellow Vipers, he also needs control worried that he will become his father.
