About this deal

All day sitting was very comfortable and because of the bit firmer cushion, I believe it will hold up well over time. Interestingly, a handful of visitors to our office sat in 10-15 chairs, and everyone said something about the back on the Vera chair. The hands-down winner in the backrest comfort score was the Vera chair’s comfortable backrest; this was a surprise to everyone. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data.

The common ones are present in most office chairs – ie a swivel base, seat height adjustment, five-spoke wheelbase and arm support adjustment. With plenty of ergonomic adjustments, most users should have no issues getting comfortable in the Vera. But, ultimately, the whole idea of an ergonomic chair is that you can alter the settings so it perfectly fits and supports your own body.

Coming from two of the most expensive chairs in the list, to this Vera, I honestly wasn’t disappointed. If you’re looking for a comfortable office chair, the Vera chair ranked in the top four in all three comfort categories. We have an excellent range of Ergonomic, stylish and luxurious seating for both home and office environments.

The New York manufacturer has realised the value of the phrase, “if it ‘aint broke, don’t fix it”, by taking the very popular freedom chair and simply adding a headrest to enhance the comfort and support. If you’re under 5’3” and looking for the perfect ergonomic fit, you may want to look for arms that go a bit lower. Further customisation is available with a four-way lumbar support, seat depth and height adjustments and excellent neck support from the semi-circular, adjustable neck pillow. It’s not often we sit in a chair that’s inspired by the design of the world’s suspension bridges but it’s immediately apparent what the designers were going for – making this a bit of a Marmite chair, we reckon. Welcome to Office Chairs UK, where since 1971 it’s been our mission to provide expert advice, value for money and excellent service with a smile.

Meanhile, the mirra 2 boasts fantastic spine support and pelvic reinforcement so that we didn’t naturally start slouching as the working day wore on. Another wonderfully engineered and striking chair, this will really add some style to your office set up thanks to the butterfly shaped backrest that is made to move with the worker.

By leaving the desk you’re less likely to forget about maintaining your posture throughout the day – anything to avoid the dreaded slouch. The lumbar or lower back region also needs to be well supported, while promoting good all-round posture, which is why plenty of adjustability is key. WIDE ADJUSTMENT RANGE]: Adjust the arms’ height, depth and angle, as well as the seat’s height and depth for personalized comfort. If you’re around this height, we’d recommend looking at a footrest to ensure your feet sit flat on the floor.Overall, the mirra 2 actively seems to promote better posture throughout the working day and makes finding the optimum working position incredibly easy thanks to the many micro adjustments that are available. While it has the highest back score, it doesn’t include a lumbar support adjustment or back height adjustment. While initially, it sits a bit firmer than some of the high-end alternatives, I found it to be very supportive for longer periods of sitting. The design and way the mesh upholstery was pulled/attached to the backrest eliminated any awkward pressure points within the frame.
