The new Forma Adventure low combines the comfort and flexibility of a road boot with features of an off-road boot. From the Atlantic to the Pacific and back, my experience with the Forma Adventure boots was nothing short of amazing! Protection doesn't have to compromise comfort: For comfort the Adventure boots have a padded memory foam sole so that your foot sits perfectly. These adventure/touring boots are designed to handle full days on the tarmac, dirt roads or anything in-between.

Despite looking chunky, getting them on is easy; the lining is soft and supple and the waterproof gusset has plenty of give to let you slide your feet in easily.The Forma Adventure Low boots are a great alternative for a rider who is looking for shorter style dual-sport boots, maybe they ride in hot environments, or their calves just don’t fit tall boots. It is better to have a little more room than to wear boots that are too tight, as tight boots can cause discomfort while riding.

But Forma has a very loyal following of bikers who are fans of both the quality and robustness of their footwear, but also of its comfort. There is a Drytex waterproof and breathable liner to keep water out but allow the foot to breathe and there is TPU protection on the ankle and a large section on the shin.

Cross-country, the feel for the bike was great and movement for the gear and brake pedals was spot on. On top of all this, they handled the odd water splash well and when it came to hopping off the bike to grab a coffee, they were as comfortable on the ground as the bike. Protection you'd expect: The ankle has been reinforced with TPU moulded plastic to give you ultimate protection.

There are also strong heel and toe cups and there is also a triangular TPU protective section on the outside of the edge of the foot.

And you get some elasticated shirring at the top of the shaft for a bit of extra comfort as you lean into the boot. There is plenty of room to wiggle toes and there are no tight spots nor bits that stick into the feet.
