The embodiment of the Mount Gay style, body and aroma - the ‘Eclipse’ is named after the 1910 total solar eclipse. Summer fruits of apricot and banana, distinctive floral notes, sweet caramel and honey with hints of vanilla and subtle smokiness from the toasted Kentucky oak barrel ageing. Now it is owned by Rémy Cointreau and, benefiting greatly from this company’s worldwide network, Mount Gay Rum has become very popular all around the globe.
