About this deal

Lauren Windle is a public speaker and journalist, published by“ Mail Online, Huffington Post, The Sun Online, Fabulous Digital, Marie Claire, The Star, Church Times ”and others“. seth was really the most perfect asshole while kiran was all things sunshine and sweet, though not without her faults, and together, these two were the perfect balance to each other. Notes on Love provides fantastic insight and wise and witty advice, not just about dating in a digital age but also about building healthy relationships more generally. Not like they told you love is, and I didn’t know this either, but love don’t make things nice – it ruins everything. If you have friends or even kids of dating age who are fed up with "helpful advice" from you or others who don’t have a clue, this book would be the perfect gift.

The first season will focus on stories about where love and marriage meet, examining what the institution is, means and how it’s changing. lmao As his is the next story and I have a strong suspicion we already know who his FMC is going to be, I'm looking forward to getting to this ASAP. Lauren Windle is a public speaker and journalist, published by Mail Online, Huffington Post, The Sun Online, Fabulous Digital, Marie Claire, The Star, Church Times and others. and while the author doesn’t get too deep into it, there are certain comments that allude to this and so. Lauren, you are a star and I can’t begin to understand why you are single (as I might have said before reading your book).

Under the Shondaland banner, they have developed and produced some of the most industry-leading series in television. Left with a nonrefundable ticket, Hugo seeks another travel partner, longing for something more in life. Let this be a lesson to me to not listen to a single recommendation from “The High Low” podcast - there’s a real problem in the British culture and media with the hivemind and circularity of a load of 20/30 somethings who went to the same boarding schools recommending and reviewing each other’s work. With notes on 'How to first date' and 'A million ways to meet people' to 'Disappointment' and 'Schrodinger's boyfriend', as well as looking at how you can find true love with yourself, your friends and family and above all in Christ, Notes on Love is a thought-provoking exploration of Christian relationships in the Church today. this did somewhat follow the typical romance formula, but the ~miscommunication~ wasn't outlandish and made sense.

No, I don't care how grumpy the MMC is, or how much jealousy is a turn on for romance readers, or how possessiveness and “you are mine" is guilty pleasures to many, I can't, for the love of God, stand a MMC being a rude jerk to the male best friend for literally no reason. An insightful, brutal and bold stance that any girl facing the fabulous single journey in the hoi polloi of the Christian dating world may need. Open-hearted, generous and honest, Notes on Love is an invitation to laugh, cry and know that whether you are male or female, single, coupled up or somewhere in between, you are not alone.

I’m scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life the way I feel when I’m with you.

Why do romance authors feel the need to insert "cock twitching" as a normalized expression for anything in romance books? These are adults, hardened by life and loss and seeing them finally find someone they could be happy with…was everything.

Notes on Love is kind, thoughtful, wise and pretty much relentlessly hilarious – there’s a decent joke on almost every page. Seth's internal dialogue is so funny at times, and that's why I love when we also get to see the male's POV in a book. Smith’s Field Notes on Love is such a sweet, cute, and lovely romance that explores what love is, breaking out of your shell, and how to find not only yourself, but also comfort in someone else. Raw, hilarious and painfully observant, this impassioned plea to treat single people as people should be required reading for all Christians. The hot topic of feminism has been well documented and debated in mainstream media and yet, as Christians we come to the conversation from a slightly different vantage point.

Notes on Love is a humorous and heart-felt look at being single and dating in the Church for a generation of Christians wrestling with what it means to love and be loved today. one thing i also want to add here: i know that each of these brothers are supposed to represent one of the seven deadly sins, and seth’s is supposed to be wrath but i felt like rather than sticking to what has been done before this could have opened up a lot of conversations on anger and processing emotions and whatnot. Was recommended this book by a friend as I was attending a book event where this author would be signing. I love romance novels and Notes on Love is the perfect one to make you feel that even though your heart is shattered, there is always someone out there that can piece it back together.of the profits from the sale of the book are donated to; Black Minds Matter, The Albert Kennedy Trust (AKT), Women's Aid, Coram Beanstalk and IKWRO. I don't think I've ever read anything from this author before, and I really enjoyed reading this book. Of the main duo, Hugo stands out the most with an awkward, endearing personality and quick sense of humor. Drawn to Hugo’s ad, she takes a chance with a stranger to go on an adventure that she hopes will spark the inspiration she needs to succeed.
