About this deal

like Ellen Tracy's trying to be all things to all wearers and might benefit from a little more clarity of purpose. At times, layering can bring out the best in all fragrances involved, while creating a fragrance totally unique to you. Top notes are Anise, Peach and Cotton Candy; middle notes are Rose, Water Lily and Jasmine; base notes are Musk, Sandalwood, Vanilla and Patchouli. Powdery, sweet, mildly heavy from the plum and oakmoss, but you definitely get the light, fruity, and feminine notes from the citrus and berry to round it out. If nothing else, I think this experience taught me that amber and cinnamon as notes are a turn off to me, and in that sense I am (thankfully) more well educated.

ATTENTION: ANTIQUE PERFUMES ARE COLLECTIBLES AND ARE NOT INTENDED TO BE USED EVEN IF IN PERFECT CONDITION. I would imagine that this frag, which to me seemed so strong and sharp, deep and intense (not unlike CK's Obsession, but less sweet and more spicy), would be long-lasting and statement-making. I'll give this time, spraying every so often to see if it has any appeal, but it's not lookin' good.

Possessing the charm to make a grand entrance and a lasting impression, the Ellen Tracy perfume collection is more than just a whiff; it’s the essence of style captured in a bottle. I would think that it is a fake, but I bought hundreds of bottles from fragnet and never had a fake. The soft, flexible waistband is adorned with the subtle ELLEN TRACY logo, adding a touch of branded sophistication to the design. This perfume has always been commented on for smelling so nice by lots of people, unfortunately, it is not sold in the UK.

It’s just an inoffensive light smell you can put on after the shower or just for the fact to wear something. and the first thing that came to mind was, oh my gosh, I am smelling a more feminine version of Burberry Men, a scent I bought for my husband to try. Second review of Ellen, because I chose to wear this yesterday, gave my arms about two healthy spritzes each, and caught lovely wafts of it all day long. Sandalwood, peach, aldehydes, lily of the valley, musk and galbanum appear to be the most dominant accords to my nose.

This was a pure accident and to me this perfume has that certain something that puts it above too many other perfumes. com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. The perfume opens with a refreshing burst of peony and plum blossom, leading into a delicate heart of violet and iris. The anise seemed to stick with it throughout the heart, or maybe it was just my love for that note which helped me keep picking it up. As with every other old school scent that’s still in production today that contains oakmoss, it’s been reformulated, so keep in mind this review is for the vintage.
