George is a good role model (but if your kids suddenly become very clumsy after watching the movie, take it away for a little while) and his lovely lady is also a very good role model. Tom is a clean-cut, all-American race car driver who manages to triumph over the evil drivers who try to sabotage the races he enters. This is the show's greatest weakness as some of George's adventures end just as they start to get going. The only two things not to like on the DVD set: There are no subtitles (I am not hard of hearing but I love watching television with subtitles on), and as you start each episode, the "George of Jungle" theme plays twice in a row. Use the thumbs up and thumbs down icons to agree or disagree that the title is similar to George of the Jungle. He doesn't quite understand his mate Ursula (voiced by June Foray), "that funny-lookin' fella who never shaves". The bonus features are pilot episodes of George and Super Chicken, which show how both shows were later enhanced by their unfogettable theme songs. While the men don't understand him, there's a strange attraction between George and Ursula Stanhope, a woman he meets when she's touring the jungle with a guide and her fiance, Lyle.He grows up to be the hunky, heroic yet clumsy king of the jungle, George ( Brendon Fraser), who swings from one tree right into the trunk of the next!
