This debut long-player arrives with additional short films and ‘imagined novels’ by mysterious fictional wordsmith George Ranger Johnson, designed, according to Schneider, to create “a world with its own mythology”. The stunning follow-up to 2012’s ‘Lonesome Dreams’, recorded at the band’s own Whispering Pines Studio in deepest LA.While continuing in a fairly similar vein to the phenomenal 'Lonesome Dreams' debut there is a sense that this an even more mature sound with a few nods to Johnny Cash (bass line rather than vocal) and the overall feel of adventuring in travel and love.
