About 95% of this manga was just a merchant going about his daily life, but oh yeah there’s also a wolf girl who’s kind of like a goddess? But now Lawrence has gotten completely caught up in the political strife of the Debau Trading Company.

After reaching the next town, Pazzio, and selling his load of furs at the Milone Company, Lawrence (with Holo's help) figures out the motive behind Zheren's scheme, and how he can profit from it. Due to events in the past, this trader is wary of just about everyone and goes about her trade dressed as a man. Who, not surprisingly, has the most attention to detail in her design and manages to stay on model throughout. Fans of Spice and Wolf have been enjoying the series for the last decade, but they will have to enjoy it while it lasts. And while I appreciate to some extent the way this series is trying to take something as oddball as trade negotiations and make it more exciting, there is a lot of this volume that comes off as a bit forced and falsely exciting, I guess.
